DIDSBURY HOUSE HOTEL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
It was back in April when Lucy and Rick got in touch and asked me to be their Didsbury House Hotel Wedding Photographer but the time flew so quickly that their September wedding came around in no time! and what a day we had! The week leading up to their wedding had been a little hit and miss with weather (mostly miss), so it was nice for the sun to grace us with its presence once the day arrived.
Eclectic Hotel Collection Manchester
This was my second Eclectic Hotel Collection wedding and second time photographing at this wonderful wedding venue. Eclectic Hotel Collection have two wedding venues situated in Didsbury (which is very handy for me living in Didsbury!) with both Didsbury House Hotel and Eleven Didsbury Park both being unique and offering something different. Both venues are an absolute pleasure to work at with a very friendly and helpful co-ordinating team.
Make sure to also have a look at Becky and John's Eleven Didsbury Park Wedding.
The Flower Lounge Didsbury
It was great to be working with my local Didsbury industry friends again for Lucy and Rick's wedding. Siân and the Flower Lounge team are amazing at what they do and always go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect for the day. For Lucy and Rick they had the signature Didsbury House Hotel staircase bannisters dressed from top to bottom in flowers, along with the wedding breakfast tables, room decor and of course; the bouquets!
It was also great to work with Jill and her fantastic team at Aureum Events again, who provided the lovely chiavari chairs and table decor for the ceremony service and wedding reception afterwards.
Didsbury House Hotel Wedding
The day was an absolute pleasure to photograph. I love Didsbury House Hotel's bridal suite with the lovely soft directional light coming through the windows which give the photographs some great contrast. On the day Lucy wore a gorgeous Ian Stuart Dress from Maria Modes Bridal (who are Regional Finalists at The Wedding Industry Awards 2018, congratulations guys!) and so naturally Lucy looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress. The whole day was so relaxed and chilled and was more of a party than anything else. This allowed me to concentrate on documenting natural moments during the day and there were plenty of those!
Infiniti Magic - Birmingham Magician
We were also treated to some great entertainment in the form of Birmingham based magician, Infiniti Magic who wowed us all with his skills with a glass and a nail! He's very much a 'close-up' magician in the same vein as Dynamo magician and left guests with some wide open mouthed expressions which were a joy to capture!
We also had Floorfillas providing us with some great music into the night which allowed our wedding party to throw their arms in the air to some awesome tunes!
I had such a lovely time photographing this amazing Didsbury House Hotel wedding for Lucy and Rick and captured loads of moments and memories during the day. Which leaves me to say a big congratulations to the newlywed couple and thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer at this amazing venue.
I've also blogged Becky and John's Eleven Didsbury Park Wedding at Didsbury House Hotel's sister venue, so feel free to check out these two brilliant wedding venues!
