Becky & John

ELEVEN DIDSBURY PARK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

I was treated to an absolutely gorgeous wedding over at Eleven Didsbury Park earlier this year with Becky and John tying the knot at this amazing wedding venue. I first met Becky at  'Bride magazine's' organised Tatton wedding fair in February and as a result of which, she was my random lucky competition winner for a free family shoot!

Having lived my entire life (albeit 5 years spent in Liverpool while at University) in Didsbury, it was great to finally shoot my first Didsbury wedding, and where better to do it than at a brilliantly run Eclectic Hotels wedding venue: Eleven Didsbury Park Hotel!
Eclectic Hotels are a chain of some of the best hotels in Manchester with each hotel being entirely individual and unique. Two of Eclectic Hotels wedding venues can be found in Didsbury: The victorian townhouse Didsbury House Hotel and Eleven Didsbury Park are just a stones throw away from the village. The other two Eclectic Hotels can be found in Manchester City Centre, with these being Great John Street Hotel and King Street Town House.

Before the day I met up with both Becky and John for their pre-wedding shoot at Fletcher Moss Gardens as they wanted to tie in the Didsbury theme; and being a Didsbury based wedding photographer I certainly knew the most idyllic spots for photographs! After a great shoot we all couldn't wait for the big day!

Didsbury Wedding Photography

I met Becky and her bridal party in the morning in the bridal suite of the grand victorian Didsbury House Hotel where the excitement was almost tangible. Her gorgeous Justin Alexander dress from 7th Heaven Bridal was hung up on the curtain rail and shoes sitting on the window sill ready to be worn. There were some lovely moments throughout the morning with her bridesmaids and mum all sharing jokes and past memories which allowed me to capture some timeless photographs.

It was a nice touch that Becky seemed to keep everything 'Didsbury'. Sian and the team at the award winning florists 'The Flower Lounge' provided some amazing floral bouquets for the occasion, some of the nicest flowers I've had the privilege of photographing! The wedding ceremony room was also dressed elegantly with peach and cream roses which complimented the room so well!
Aureum Events dressed the ceremony room and reception room with chiavari chairs and table furnishings which looked absolutely stunning.

Garden Wedding

After the ceremony the wedding party took a short walk up the road to the reception venue, Eleven Didsbury Park for drinks and canapes in the beautiful gardens. As this point I snook off with the bride and groom for 10 minutes to capture some nice natural relaxed portraits of the two of them together before we returned for the bbq wedding meal buffet in the garden followed by a great speech from Becky's dad and then cake cutting and partying into the night!

I absolutely loved every second of capturing Becky and John's big day for them picture by picture. I also loved the fact that the wedding was so chilled and relaxed, which ended up being an amazing garden party with lawn games such as croquet being played by the kids and grown ups.

I've also blogged Lucy and Rick's Didsbury House Hotel wedding photography at Eleven Didsbury Park's sister venue, so feel free to check out these two brilliant wedding venues!
