Alice & William

Haigh Hall Hotel Wedding Photography

When Alice and William told me all about the plans for their special day, I really couldn’t wait! They had so much planned with a couple of big surprises for their wedding guests lined up! This was my second time at Haigh Hall and my, what a gorgeous venue this is!

As you enter into the lobby of this grand wedding venue you can see just how magnificent this hall is. Walking into the vast open hallway you are greeted with a grandiose main central staircase being naturally lit from the sunlight beaming through the amphitheatre styled domed glass ceiling. The walls are lavishly decorated with opulent art gallery styled paintings throughout all adding to the grandeur of this extravagant wedding venue.

I met Alice in the bridal chamber at Haigh Hall, who was having her make up applied in the company of her closest bridesmaids. Like the theming for the rest of the hall, the bridal suite is styled in a contemporary way in which it perfectly compliments the rest of the venue. The large windows are perfect for allowing natural light to enter and give for some perfect relaxed portrait moments as the bridal party get ready for the ceremony ahead.

Luxury hall wedding venue

After a relaxing morning with the bridal party photographing as they sipped their prosecco in their wedding gowns, in no time we were descending the central staircase and making our way to the magnificent ballroom which was beautifully styled with blossom trees by Kelly Louise Floral Artistry.

The ceremony room looked absolutely stunning with candles hanging from the blossom trees. The wedding party sat on either side of the aisle as Alice and her bridesmaids made their way down for the service processional. The occasion all got a little much for our groom who wiped away a tear at the top of the aisle during the nuptials, hand in hand with his beautiful bride Alice.

Howard Wing Wedding Singer

Once vows and wedding rings were exchanged we were straight outside for confetti and a couple of quick portraits. We then had the incredible Howard Wing Wedding Singer who entertained the newlyweds and their guests throughout the wedding breakfast. There were some great candid moments captured throughout the singing, with Howard calling up guests to perform and act, which resulted in some great photographs to fill the album!

It was an absolutely fantastic day and one I thoroughly enjoyed photographing. If you are getting married and would like to chat about wedding photography, please feel free to drop me a message.
